The gateway to the north, Chiang Mai is a popular destination for those who want to explore the delights of Thailand, providing the chance to explore ancient Buddhist temples, popular night markets and jungle landscapes. You’ll enjoy all that and more besides on this three day excursion, which includes a day where you can close to nature.

Day 1: Arrive Chiang Mai - City Tour

Arrive in Chiang Mai before being transferred to your chosen hotel for a two-night stay. In the afternoon, you’ll join up with your guide to embark on a tour around Chiang Mai, visiting the impressive Buddhist temples of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, Wat Suan Dok and Wat Chedi Luang. The evening is yours to do as you wish, with a visit to the popular night market being just one of the options available.

Day 2: Chiang Dao Elephant Trek – Rafting – Hilltribe Village

Get close to nature as you embark on a full day tour to the Chiang Dao Elephant Camp, located on the banks of the Ping River. As well as enjoying an elephant trek through the jungle, you’ll have chance to travel along the river on a traditional bamboo raft – taking in rural views along the riverbank and also providing the opportunity to examine traditional hill tribe life.
