Embrace the chance to get closer to nature on a three day adventure that heads into the heart of the Thai countryside. Help feed and bathe elephants as part of a once in a lifetime experience and then experience jungle life as you stay in the heart of a rainforest – with three days staying alongside the sights and sounds tropical rural life.

Day 1: Arrive Khao Sok

Transfer from your hotel to Khao Sok, enjoying glimpses of rural life as you journey through the Thai countryside to the elephant camp. Your experience begins with the opportunity to get hands on with these majestic creatures as you interact with the animals alongside their normal carers – helping to prepare their food and to scrub them clean at bathing time. Following the conclusion of your memorable elephant experience, you’ll be ready for a buffet lunch comprising of a selection of traditional Thai dishes before heading out on a canoe trip down the Sok River. Drift along the river past limestone mountains and cliffs covered in exotic vegetation, enjoying the opportunity to embrace areas of forest that remain unspoilt by human hands. You’ll then spend the night in a luxurious safari tent in the heart of the rainforest.

Day 2: Khao Sak - Cheow Larn Lake

After waking to the sounds of the surrounding wildlife, you can enjoy breakfast at leisure before checking out and making the trip to Cheow Larn Lake in the heart of the jungle. Arriving at the dam, you’ll then board a boar to cruise out onto the lake, passing by towering limestone mountains to the ‘Guilin’ of Southern Thailand. You’ll then journey to the Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp to be checked in to your luxury tented accommodation and enjoy a traditional Thai lunch before some time at leisure to fully embrace your stunning surroundings. The chance to swim in the lake, to take ride on a jungle canoe or to search for wildlife in the trees are just some of the options available before returning to camp to experience a dramatic sunset and enjoy dinner surrounded by the differing sounds of the jungle. Those who wish can take in a trip by boat to seek out some of the nocturnal inhabitants of the jungle.

Day 3: Depart Cheow Larn Lake

The sounds of wildlife will again act as your alarm call as you wake in the rainforest before a leisurely breakfast to start the day. After breakfast, you’ll embark on a jungle trek that provides the chance to explore the ecology of the forest and to examine the wide array of flora and fauna that call the area home. Having had the chance to listen to the sounds of the jungle, you’ll then return to the raft house for lunch and some time at leisure to take a relaxing swim or to head out onto the water in a canoe before your time at the lake ends and you transfer back to your hotel and the end of your trip.
